4 Tips To Cure Neck Pain
Overtime poor posture not only degenerates the muscles but it can really create a very bad impact on our body and all this could lead to neck injury. Incorrect posture, extended head holding in one position, routine head and neck forward posture can really lead to muscle injury and quiet a lot of pain in neck.

Everyone is glued to the smart phone and tablet. Currently most of the people spend good amount of time over the laptop or desktop with their neck bent down forward, this increases pressure on your neck and so what should we do to prevent this pressure? Prevent this problem?
1. Avoid Postural Mistakes
Here are some common mistakes and you should know how to avoid it. To begin with most people are accustomed to looking down while working, as a result of it the neck gets strained, instead reduce the pressure by adjusting the screen or by holding the screen at the eye level and also while sitting or working you should correct your posture intentionally with proper awareness.
2. Sit and Stand Properly
Most people sit or stand in a slouch position and whereby they increase the pressure on the neck so they should become aware and correct it. Learn to stand or sit erect, preferably your chin parallel to the ground, stand tall sit tall and walk tall. You can occasionally try and arch yourself backward to release your pressure, so while sitting or lying down on sofa see to it that your upper body is always straight. So take pillow in such a way that pillow is upto your shulder when you are lying down.
At night also see to it when you are lying down straight, a pillow should come upto your shoulder, neck and head should be on your pillow but when you are turning to your side then pillow is out of the shoulder and then you are resting your head on the pillow. So this is how you will be able to give rest to your neck and avoid pain. Avoid using pillow which is too thin or too thick, often people just put something below neck and sleep, that should be avoided.
See to it that you use proper big pillow which is soft and use that pillow upto the shoulder when you are lying down straight. Next when you are having a shower in a standing position avoid extending your neck for a longer time and avoid looking down too. Instead bath with shower in your hands so that you don't have to bend forward for a long time or look down and that will prevent the problem.
3. Cold and Hot Compress Therapy
Apply an ice pack on your neck to minimize the swelling and pain, later to relax the muscles and promote good blood circulation. Use hot water bag on same place. Application of ice or heat therapy can be around 10 to 15 mis with a gap of few hours to allow the skin to settle down .
4. Choosing The Right Food
Diet plays an importantnrole in both preventing and causing pain and discomfort. Avoid acidic food like coffee oranges and colas, even alcohol, fried and processed foods, high sugar content foods and refined flour. All such foods can aggravate the inflammation and cause pain. Preferably person should take food with low calorie high fibre, high vitamins and minerals. All this should include whole food like leafy greens walnuts and ginger garlic beans and berries.
All these things would help to achieve balance and live a happy and healthy life. Eat healthily, rest properly, behave kindly and think positively and all this would be beautiful. When there is a synchronization between these 4 habits then the body would be healthy free from pain, free from suffering, mind would be happy cheerful and life would be beautiful without neck pain or without any pain in the body and mind, so take care.
