Project Xandata enters Early Access S1 on July 27, 2022
Filipino game developer Secret 6 has announced that Project Xandata is entering its first season of early access.
The early access version of Project Xandata was released on Steam on March 22 this year. In this competitive first-person shooter PC game, players assume the role of a Xandat, a trained soldier with magic-infused cybernetic armor, in a 3v3 Arena FPS that tests their movement, aim, and teamwork. To win, players use submachine guns, sniper rifles, assault rifles, and even rocket launchers to execute flashy moves with the aid of elemental abilities.
With multiple classes and elements available, players can demonstrate their skills in a variety of ways to gain a competitive advantage. Players can take the high ground for their team with the unbeatable air dominance of the Wind Marksman, shatter their opponents' hopes of victory with the deft and lethal Ice Agent, or simply feel the warmth of victory as their rivals burn in the inferno left by the Fire Juggernaut. With numerous customization options at the player's disposal, there is always a way to gain an advantage.
On July 27, 2022, Season 1 of Early Access for Project Xandata will launch with a new map, new character skills, and new cosmetics, among other features.
New Map: Fastlane
Fastlane is a city transportation hub in the Lightning District filled with bright neon lights, advertisements, food stalls, and futuristic vehicles, a veritable epicenter of the future turned Xandat battleground.
Fastlane is a more compact and fast-paced map with two nearly symmetrical main areas separated by a two-story train station with multiple access points. Due to the dense nature of the map, players will engage in more skirmishes and gunfights, but with the various paths and elevations, they will never run out of ways to flank and fight for objectives.
The map is heavily influenced by diverse Philippine preferences. Those with a keen eye can even spot some very interesting references, so long as they keep a watchful eye out for potential gankers. When it becomes available for Early Access Season 1, Fastlane will feature a frenetic, fast-paced firefight flow.
New Skills For All Classes
As previously stated, Project Xandata features multiple class abilities and elements that cater to various playstyles, and new ones will be added during the upcoming season. In addition to the initial three added during the mid-season patch of Season 0, these new skills provide players with a variety of additional options for expanding their arsenal.
- Marksman - Hard Light Stinger
- Fires three hard, light bullets with a shotgun-like spread, allowing you to eliminate Xandats that threaten your comfort zone.
- In addition, the Stinger deals increased damage as the magazine of your current weapon empties. Insufficient ammunition is a death sentence for your enemies.
- Agent - Feign Death
- Activate a buff that activates when you take sufficient damage. Once activated, you enter a brief state of perfect invisibility, leaving behind a fake corpse to deceive your foes for a quick escape or to make them turn their backs for the perfect backstab.
- Feign Death also grants a buff that allows players to use their Special Melee ability twice without cooldowns, granting them an even more lethal advantage.
- Juggernaut - Mini Frags
- Fire a small grenade that ricochets off of surfaces and walls, dealing damage and knockback to the enemies it hits or that walk over it.
- The miniature bombs can also be used for "grenade jumps," providing Juggernauts with an entirely new mobility option.
New Prestige Pass & Cosmetics
The Early Access S1 brings a new line of armor and weapon skins, emotes, name plates, and other cosmetics.
The Prestige Pass is the equivalent of a season pass for Project Xandata. For only 525 X-Diamonds (which can be obtained by purchasing 630 X-Diamonds for PHP 500), players will receive incredible in-game items as they play and level up. Players may also purchase levels of the Prestige Pass to acquire the desired items immediately.
In addition to these incredible level rewards, players can also purchase a variety of cosmetics from the in-game store. Items in the shop change every few days.
