TH's EVOS Phoenix win Free Fire World Series 2022 Bangkok

EVOS Phoenix from Thailand were declared as Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2022 Bangkok champions after the two-day nerve-racking battle. The second-time World Series champion bagged the largest slice of the USD 2 million prize pool and the championship trophy after accumulating 54 kills and 2 Booyahs, which landed them 117 points.

In anticipation of the thrilling Finals, everyone was on the edge of their seats. They witnessed EVOS Phoenix compete against Vivo Keyd from Brazil, who placed second with 114 points, and Nigma Galaxy from Thailand, who placed third with 97 points.

The triumph by EVOS Phoenix is Thailand's third consecutive World Series victory, following victories at the previous two World Series events held in Singapore. After coming in second place at the previous FFWS, the veteran squad showed their resilience once more by making a strong resurgence and claiming first place this time around. This also makes EVOS Phoenix the first team to win the World Series twice, as they previously won the FFWS 2021 Singapore tournament.

Meanwhile, MCPS (Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines, and Sri Lanka) representative, AV Radicals from the Philippines, fought hard to prove themselves on Free Fire's World Stage. The Tier One-led squad earned themselves a very respectable 9th place with 30 eliminations.

FFWS 2022 Bangkok Finals recap: Thailand's EVOS Phoenix vs. Brazil's Vivo Keyd

The teams from Thailand and Brazil have consistently dominated this World Series. As of the penultimate match of the Finals, EVOS Phoenix was ranked in the third spot, while Vivo Keyd was first. In the eighth and final match, EVOS Phoenix defeated Vivo Keyd by a margin of more than 20 points to earn an additional 30 points.

As a result of securing an amazing elimination score of 18 in the final match, EVOS Phoenix eventually surpassed Vivo Keyd by a total of 3 points, allowing EVOS Phoenix to be proclaimed the FFWS 2022 Bangkok champions.

Moshi of EVOS Phoenix proved his worth and displayed his great abilities by being awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the FFWS 2022 Bangkok with 17 kills and 4 assists.
