Lovejoy

 In the last two decades, the Lovejoy Center has given away more than $100 million in grants, scholarships and other gifts.

Lovejoy has been a leader in the fight against cancer and has tripled the number of people it serves to 6,000 since its founding in 1991. The foundation's annual giving is $50 million.

Lovejoy is a small town in southeastern Oregon, about two hours from Portland. It's easy to get to, but once you're there you don't want to leave. The town has an iconic main street with lots of shops and restaurants, many of them good. One of my favorite things about Lovejoy is that it seems to have been planned with bicycles in mind. There are bike lanes everywhere, including on some residential streets where they would be illegal elsewhere.

The town has a population of just over 1,000 people and many more visitors during the summer months when the weather is beautiful and people come up to camp and fish or go hiking in nearby Samia Gorge or Mount Hood National Forest. I was recently interviewed on Lovejoy's local NPR station (KVOR) while riding my bike around town, which I think added another dimension to this article for someone who hasn't been there before.

There are lots of reasons why Lovejoy should be on your list if you're traveling through Oregon this summer: a charming downtown filled with shops; great food; beautiful scenery; a friendly community; and access to Oregon's famous volcanoes (Mount Hood and Mount St Helens).

Lovejoy is an American television series that aired on NBC from February 3, 2014, to March 31, 2015. The series was created by Greg Garcia and stars Andy Daly as a neurotic, yet lovable man who runs a small town funeral home in the fictional town of Gilead, Oregon.

The show premiered on February 3, 2014, with a two-hour premiere that consisted of eight episodes.[1] NBC initially canceled the series following its first season but relaunched it for a second season on March 11, 2015.[2][3] The second season was picked up by Netflix for distribution,[4] with Netflix releasing the entire series on May 26, 2016.[5][6]

On January 25th 2019 Lovejoy cancelled by NBC before Season 2 started filming.

Lovejoy is an American television sitcom that premiered on the NBC network on October 3, 2019. The series stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas as a married couple who run a bakery in small-town America, and it was created by Liz Tigelaar.

The series was originally ordered to series by NBC on May 5, 2019, but it changed networks to ABC Family due to that network's higher profile acquisition of Freeform two days later.
