TMBayan Fiber WiFi expands to over 600 hubs in Philippines

Globe has deployed over 600 TMBayan Fiber WiFi hubs as of the end of October 2022. The expansion of the prepaid WiFi service aims to address the growing need for internet connectivity in the Philippines.
From over 200 hubs in August, now over 600 TMBayan Fiber WiFi locations, Globe said it would continue to expand its TMBayan Fiber WiFi hubs "by tapping more local retailers to serve as connectivity partners, providing them with a new way to earn."
Janis Legaspi-Racpan, Globe At Home Brand Management Head, said that TMBayan Fiber WiFi "is a way to further empower and boost their businesses as they become the community's new favorite tambayans or hangouts."
According to Globe, TMBayan Fiber WiFi, their pioneering prepaid fiber offer, hit this milestone just two months after the internet service was launched nationwide. It caters specifically to the youth by delivering robust and reliable connectivity for uninterrupted socializing with their friends.
Globe rolled out its first prepaid community fiber in the following regions and provinces:
- National Capital Region (NCR)
- Luzon – Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, and Laguna
- Visayas – Cebu and Tacloban
- Mindanao – Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, and Zamboanga
These hubs provide neighborhood tambayans, such as sari-sari stores and other community centers, with essential fiber connectivity for gaming, surfing, streaming, and creating content.
TMBayan Fiber WiFi offers Filipinos fiber strong internet connectivity for 50 Pesos, unlimited for three days.
