Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra vs Vivo X90 Pro+ Comparison

Vemuda Techno - The phones capable of confronting the camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been officially launched - Vivo X90 Pro+. In fact, not all great camera phones come from Samsung, Apple or Google brands. Vivo X90 Pro+ is the latest flagship model with a super interesting camera system too. The product has been officially launched in China.

The highlight of this "super product" is Sony's 1-inch main sensor, much larger than the sensor on the iPhone 14 Pro Max or Galaxy S22 Ultra. The new sensor has a 77% larger photosensitive area than the 1/1.3-inch sensor on its predecessor.

Although Vivo is not the first company to use a 1-inch sensor, it has perfected the technology and claims the camera is the "King of 1-inch sensors".

Specifically, the main camera of the device comes with a fast f / 1.75 aperture lens, which maximizes light reaching the sensor.

In addition, vivo also uses a special lens coating with Zeiss T technology to reduce glare and ghosting. The company says the lens has an extremely high Abbe rating, reaching 81.6, (regular plastic lenses are only at 30).

Like the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the device also has 2 telephoto cameras. The first telephoto camera uses a 50mm portrait lens with f/1.6 aperture and fixed focal length.

The second telephoto camera is a periscope 3.5X zoom lens with a 64 Megapixel sensor. With this camera, vivo also uses some additional software and supports up to 100X digital zoom.

So here are some Vivo flagship camera features.
1. Astrophotography.
2. Miniature model photography mode.
3. Correcting the horizon for shooting tall buildings.
4. Flash portrait mode.
5. Freeze subjects in low light.

Finally, Vivo X90 Pro+ also has an ultra-wide-angle camera with a lens optimized  to reduce distortion. This camera uses a 48 Megapixels Sony I-M-X-5-9-8 sensor and has a viewing angle of up to 114 degrees.

With the exception of the ultra-wide-angle camera, all rear cameras feature optical image stabilization, which is especially useful on zoom lenses.

Along with the ability to record 4K videos, users can also record 8K quality videos at 30 frames per second on this high-end smartphone.

The device supports color correction, so users will get a moderate white balance, can choose between Zeiss Natural Video 2.0 mode or the more saturated Vivo Vivid Color mode.

And yet, the camera also supports dolby Vision and log, allowing for quick photos at  10 frames per second while recording video.
In addition to the "top" rear camera cluster, vivo also integrates its products with the latest hardware and is well-deserved for the top position in the Vivo product line.

The phone comes with a stunning 6.78-inch, 1440p OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate thanks to L-T-P-O technology. The screen is also super bright, reaching a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits.

Overall, the flagship weighs 221 grams, slightly lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. At the same time, the product also has a durable construction, dust and water-resistant rating of I-P-68.

Inside, Vivo X90 Pro+ runs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. This chip is also expected to be integrated in Samsung's Galaxy S23 Series, which will launch early next year.

In terms of biometrics, vivo phones have a large Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max fingerprint scanner built into the screen.

Powering vivo's high-end smartphone is a 4,700 mille Ampere per hours battery, which supports 80 Watt wireless charging and 50 Watt wired charging.

According to the manufacturer, users will only take 33 minutes to fully charge the battery. Vivo X90 Pro + will be "on shelves" in China with MediaTek chip from December 6.

Vivo has yet to announce when the product will be available in other markets mean while the international version may run on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

In general, the price of Vivo X90 Pro+ is not too high, that is to say, the standard version with 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM retails for about $910 (equivalent to V-N-D 22.6 million) while the 12GB RAM + 512GB ROM version has a retail price of about $910 (equivalent to  V-N-D 22.6 million). The price is about 980 U-S-D in bracket (24.34 million V-N-D).

Therefore, when officially launched, Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra will have to "confront" Vivo X90 Pro + with an "equal" chip and camera.
