The M2 iPad Pro 2022 maintains the same 12.9-inch, 2732 x 2048 display as the M1-powered iPad Pro from last year. The display, a major selling point of the M1 model, remains unchanged. 

The maximum brightness can reach 1,600 nits, and deep black levels are maintained thanks to the backlighting of 10,000 mini-LEDs in 2,500 local dimming zones. The combination of HDR, the full P3 color gamut, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 provides for a stunning display.

Though, most things have stayed the same with the rest of the hardware. Unlike the regular 10.9-inch iPad, the front-facing camera has not been relocated to the long edge. Everything meant to go with the original form factor is still available.

1. M2-POWERED CHIP

Now, with the external components keeping the same, you have to check the interior for improvements.

Apple claims that there will be improvements in all areas, including a 15% increase in CPU speed and a 35% increase in GPU speed.

In addition, Apple asserts a 40% performance boost in the neural engine, which drives machine learning operations (V1I2).

The M2 iPad Pro supports up to 16GB rapid unified memory and has 100GB/s of unified memory bandwidth, which is 50 percent more than the M1 and allows for more fluid multitasking and handling huge assets.

Most reviews have concluded that the improved specifications have resulted in significantly faster performance across various uses. 5. PRICING AND AVAILABILITY

The new M2 iPad Pro can be ordered starting October 18 from apple.com/store and the Apple Store app in 28 countries, with in-store availability commencing on Wednesday, October 26.

Available in two types, 11-inch and 12.9-inch M2 iPad Pro models will be offered in silver and space gray (V1I5), with storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

Wi-Fi only costs $799, and Wi-Fi + Cellular costs $999 for the 11-inch iPad Pro, while the 12.9-inch iPad Pro m2's Wi-Fi-only version costs $1,099 and Wi-Fi + Cellular costs $1,299. As stated before, the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen will go separately for $129.

If we're being honest, It would be a lie to say that we were thrilled by Apple's announcement of the iPad Pro M2 2022 because it didn't appear that anything had changed.

Fortunately, the changes made, however minor they may be, actually make the M2 iPad Pro a much better tablet.
