Vemuda Techno - Which smartphone features are more important to  you—faster charging, a 100X zoom, better selfies on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, or a great display and extended battery life on the iPhone 14 Pro Max?

If you're here, you probably want to know which of these phones is the best, so keep reading as we talk about Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra vs. iPhone 14 Pro Max Brightness, Battery Drain Test, and more.

1. Design

Let's start with the design. They say that Apple has coached its customers to be excited  about nothing new. If you take out Dynamic Island, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is almost indistinguishable  from its predecessor.

The Dynamic Island is a dynamic user interface element that adapts to your applications' needs. For instance, you can use it to check the time, play or pause music,  listen to recorded voice memos, and much more.

However, the front-facing camera of the Galaxy S22 Ultra is housed in a small hole. We particularly like how well the Galaxy S22 Ultra conceals its cameras on its back and the camera bump isn't too severe. Speaking of cameras, we shall  get into that shortly, so stay with us.

Plus, the large display is curved, and the side frame is made of aluminum. Compared to the thinner and lighter Galaxy S22 Ultra, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is bulkier and heavier.

The S Pen is the built-in pen for the Galaxy S22 Ultra and it can be tucked away in the phone's internal storage and charged.

2. Display

It's clear that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has the best screen. It sports a 1290p, 6.7-inch, 120Hz display that can be as bright as 2000 nits.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra, on the other hand, boasts a 6.8-inch screen with a 120Hz resolution of 1440p and a maximum brightness of 1750 nits.

The 6.7-inch diagonal Super Retina XDR OLED display on the iPhone 14 Pro boasts a resolution of 1290 x 2796 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 hertz, HDR10 certification, and Dolby Vision support.

For the first time ever on an iPhone, the 14 Pro Max has an always-on screen. Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a Quad HD+ 1440 x 3088-pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ certification.

3. Camera

The S22 Ultra has a telephoto lens with 108 megapixels and an ultra-wide sensor with 12 megapixels. Further, the S22 Ultra is able to shoot 4K video at 60 frames per second, 8K at the back, and 40MP wide-angle video at the front.

The camera of the S22 Ultra is impressive and even Samsung adds that there's a 58% wider OIS angle and 4 times faster motion sampling to compensate for unsteady hands.

Additionally, we love the super night solution a lot. Now that Apple has released the iPhone 14 Pro Max, it includes a 48MP sensor,  bringing it in line with its Android rivals.
The ultra-wide and telephoto lenses have improved over the previous model as well. Apple's Photonic Engine significantly improves low-light performance and adds a new 2x telephoto option.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra still has an advantage in zoom. More information is seen at the 15x magnification. Additionally, this is as far as the Pro Max can zoom, whereas the S22 Ultra goes as high as 30x and even 100x. Is the battery life enough for you to use your camera continuously, you an adventurous photographer?

4. Storage

As with its predecessor, the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the 14 Pro Max only features  6GB of RAM. In contrast, the Galaxy S22 Ultra's top-tier model has 12GB of RAM, while the standard version has 8GB.

With respect to internal memory, both smartphones have four different options: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. If you're looking to buy any of the two, you should know that none of them features a microSD card slot.

5. Battery

Although the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a smaller battery, it has superior battery life. As opposed to the S22's 10 hours, you're guaranteed to have 13 hours with the pro  max.

There is a large battery within the Galaxy S22 Ultra, measuring 5,000mAh. In contrast, the iPhone 14 Pro Max's battery capacity is 4,323mAh.

Thanks to the significant optimizations made  to iOS, the iPhone 14 Pro Max can last longer between charges in various situations. With MagSafe, included with the iPhone 14 Pro Max, you can charge your phone using a magnetic field.

If you have wireless headphones, you can charge them on the Galaxy S22 Ultra thanks to its reverse wireless charging feature.

In the end, however, it's up to personal taste and budget. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is an excellent choice if you need a high-capacity smartphone with rapid charging, a fingerprint reader, and a strong zoom lens.

If you're looking for a smartphone with a dependable camera and long battery life, the iPhone 14 Pro Max is your best bet. Thanks for reading at Vemuda Techno.
