Once Human PC beta test set for January 6, 2023

Once Human, an upcoming horror shooter PC game, is set to launch its PC beta test on January 6, 2023, as announced by developer Starry Studio during the PC Gaming Show 2023 Preview. Along with the announcement, a gameplay trailer was also revealed.

To participate in the beta test, be sure to go to the official Once Human website (https://www.oncehuman.game/) and click the "Beta Test in Jan" button to fill out a questionnaire to qualify for the test. According to NetEase Games, Once Human is slated for release in Q4 2023.

Once Human is a New Weird sandbox survival Game set in the aftermath of an apocalypse that's altered the fabric of our reality. Bloodthirsty creatures stalk the earth, while secret societies seek to dominate it. Together with friends, you will uncover hidden histories, build your own territory, compete for resources, and conquer this fallen world. Once, you were merely human. Now, you have the power to shape the future.

Game Background Story

After the mysterious silver door opened, a catastrophe came to this world. Human civilization has fallen in the invasion of Stardust pollution and abnormal forms. For 30 years, human beings have been struggling to survive in the mud. Until you wake up, then, some extraordinary people called Metas have appeared in this last world. You have to accumulate the resources for survival, heal the land polluted by Stardust, and recapture the sites of human civilization occupied by deformities.

The game's art style is known as New Weird, and it depicts horrific aberrant monsters and a doomsday city. In Once Human, you will explore the world in a post-apocalyptic setting and fight off otherworldly threats while enduring insurmountable odds.

You must be prepared for the brutality of nature (monsters and food scarcity), but Stardust's influence also affects the soil and water. Consuming polluted food and water will diminish one's sanity. To eat or not to eat, that's the question.

There are approximately one hundred gun blueprints split into 7 categories for you to collect and craft, and each loot provides something new.

Learn the truth about Stardust, including where it came from and what it desires. Explore human settlements to discover their histories or eliminate superiors without leaving a name for survivors to laud.
