Motorola Moto X40 Is Coming Now

Vemuda Techno - So hey guys, Qualcomm will soon release their next flagship chipset for the following year, the Snapdragon 8 gen 2. As we know, many smartphone companies will announce their flagship phones with this chipset at the launch time. For example, the Asus ROG 6 phone was the first phone to launch with the 8 Gen 1.  

As of right now, it appears like Motorola will  use the "am the first" title for the 8 gen 2 and be the first phone company to introduce this latest CPU. Yes, Motorola did actually introduce the Moto X30 in China back in December 2021. (globally known as Moto Edge 30 Pro).

Now, it appears that the Lenovo-owned company is developing the Moto X40, which will successor of the X30. Recently, the device was found on China's 3C certification website.

And now, a well-known source revealed a few of the important details of the future smartphone. Here are some details.  

While answering a user's message on Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the future Moto X40 smartphone would have an FHD + display and will be powered by the unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. Furthermore, the smartphone is said to include a 50-megapixel main camera.  

According to the source, the machine "should be  low-priced," and it is expected to continue to break the low-price record of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship and become the "price butcher of the Snapdragon 8 Gen2." 

Let me remind you that the Moto x30 was introduced at the lowest price of the Snapdragon 8 flagship. In addition, the new Moto X40 is anticipated to be the first batch to be loaded with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagship CPU, based on TSMC's 4nm technology, and its performance will achieve a new high, according to previously leaked reports. Let me explain some technical details now.  

The chip will utilize a new "1+2+2+3"  eight-core architectural design, with the super core being updated to Cortex X3, which has performance that is 22% greater than Cortex X2, and the large core being upgraded to Cortex A715.

The performance and energy efficiency are both up 5% and 20% from the Cortex A710, respectively. In short, the 8 gen 2 has better power and energy efficiency than the 8 + gen 1, which is great news.  

As per rumors, the new Moto X40 will launch  as early as November and will continue to challenge Xiaomi for the first Snapdragon 8 Gen2 CPU. We will wait and see for more details.
