Eve Echoes 2nd Anniversary: events, updates, Sleepers expansion
NetEase Games and CCP Games have revealed that Eve Echoes, an MMO space-based game, is celebrating its 2nd anniversary. As part of the big celebration, there are events with generous rewards. Further, the mobile game has launched its biggest expansion ever – The Sleepers – with new gameplay and a new build-up system.
For the uninitiated, Eve Echoes is a game that allows players to explore the untamed galaxy in any way they choose, from creating corporations that can colonize space to becoming interstellar pirates who lurk in the shadows of moons. The game has gradually added new content to the game, expanding its sandbox universe with new and exciting features. With over 5 million players worldwide, Eve Echoes offers players innumerable opportunities to embark on sci-fi adventures and forge their own destiny among the stars. With the latest expansions and content updates bringing all kinds of new technology to the galaxy, the 2nd-anniversary update for Eve Echoes will include additional features.

New Enemy: The Sleepers
The Sleepers are an ancient race that was once thought to have perished thousands of years ago. In reality, they were gradually sowing the seeds for future awakening in every corner of the universe. Designed to support all the Sleepers within, the Centrals awoke after a long slumber. No specific reason was recorded for this sleep in the database. Now, it is requesting the New Eden due to its desire to endure in the cosmos.
New Gameplay: Dormant Realm
Players of Eve Echoes can participate in a brand-new challenge, the Dormant Realm, in which they choose which fleet to join and work together to defeat powerful PvE bosses, with greater rewards available at higher difficulty levels. The Dormant Realm provides an excellent opportunity for players to obtain a new item: Implants.
New Build-up System: Implants
Implants are used by The Sleepers to store memories, behaviors, and combat strategies. Now, the awakened sleepers have implanted themselves into New Eden. Utilizing cybernetic Implants to enhance combat capabilities, players can determine their own evolutionary path. Implants can provide up to twelve distinct abilities to players, allowing them to determine their future development in New Eden.
New Event: The Voyage Ceremony
On August 19, 2022, the voyage ceremony will officially begin. This will be a momentous occasion for New Eden as it commemorates the great accomplishment of human voyages. All participants may parade through the venue of the celebration, displaying the character and vigor of their respective corporations. The Voyage Ceremony will be broadcasted live on YouTube, during which a vast fleet of ships will form a procession through the space of EVE Echoes.
New Theme Song: "Beyond The Sky"
The second anniversary of Eve Echoes will be commemorated with the release of the theme song "Beyond The Sky" on all music platforms. The song commemorates the human creation of New Eden after the collapse of the EVE gate and tells the tale of discovering the truth in ancient history and creating a legend in the endless night sky.
The Eve Echoes expansion Sleeper will be released on August 3, 2022, bringing new content to the game. On August 19, the Voyage Ceremony Live Stream will conclude the second-anniversary celebrations.
