PLDT ramps up migration of Home Ultera to Fiber, Wireless Postpaid
PLDT has announced the completion of the migration of Home Ultera into a faster network to benefit over 3,000 subscribers.
By the end of July 2022, 185 telecom towers that provide Time-Division Duplex Long-Term Evolution or TD-LTE coverage to PLDT's legacy fixed wireless service will be decommissioned.
More than 3,000 PLDT Home Ultera subscribers who are eligible for service migration have the option of migrating to higher-speed fixed fiber plans or postpaid wireless service for the home at no additional cost.
Additionally, customers who will migrate to PLDT Home Fiber will enjoy the free installation and modem fees.
The PLDT Ultera migration initiative will cover 58 areas in the Philippines, including:

The decommissioning follows PLDT's announcement of the sale of its tower earlier this year.
