Huawei P50 Pocket: Best Foldable Smartphone

What's up every body right here. So as expected Huawei today officially unveiled its first commercial flip foldable smartphone; the Huawei P50 Pocket and definitely the smartphone is gorgeous in terms of design.

But during the premiere, the smartphone was first compared with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 in terms of the whole folding mechanism because the Samsung Z Flip 3 is its direct competitor.

1. One of The Best Foldable Smartphone

Huawei shows that it has basically developed completely new hinges for the Huawei P50 Pocket. Thanks when it is folded, the halves of the cases are located strictly parallel to each other.

In the Samsung's case we have a little bit gap when you always successfully ended in its fold.

2. Weight and Dimensions

Also interestingly, Huawei decided to compare the Huawei P50 Pocket with the iPhone 13 Pro Max in terms of the weight and dimensions.

Of course the advantage is on the side of the Huawei device, although the devices are of a different classes. Apparently, Huawei thinks that the P50 Pocket can basically turn potential buyers from the iPhone 13 Pro or the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

3. Awesome Foldable Screen Phone

Furthermore it is also showing that one inch cover screen as a big part of the Huawei P50 Pocket's appeal. But as well as showing notifications or time, this mini screen can be used for more features.

But it has its own service widgets for the first and third party apps like maps, letting uses control music, follow directions and so on.

So for example if you are using your phone to navigate in a new city, the cover screen will show discrete, turn by turn directions, rather than forcing you to open up the large 6.9 inch main display to check your position.

So overall this mini screen is doing all jobs done. But this is 6.9 inch, 120 hertz OLED main screen with a tall 21 : 9 ratio and 2790 x 1188 px resolution.

3. Nice Camera Phone

Huawei went with a punch hole cut out on the top which houses the selfie camera. And if we talk about the rear side of the phone while especially talking about the cameras, but the P50 Pocket comes with three cameras.

It has a 40 megapixel main camera with 26 mm equivalent lens along with a 13 MP, f/2.2, 120˚ ultra wide angle snapper and a 32 MP, f/1.8 ultra spectrum camera.

It should boost colors rendering and you know what as it's a foldable phone which actually cost more than the usual phone.

4. Smartphone Hardware and System Design

This is Snapdragon 888 4G chipset added by 8 and 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of storage.

The software side is covered by the hardware operating system while the battery comes in at 4000 mAh and supports 40 watt wire charging.

5. Cheapest Foldable Smartphone

This smartphone comes with a hooping 1410 dollar price tag for the base model and 1725 for the high-end specs.
