Avoid These Mistakes To Prevent Cancer

One of the biggest health challenges of 21st century is cancer. It is the second leading cause of death globally. There were almost 18 million cancer cases that were reported in 2018 and almost 10 million deaths, because of that. It is estimated by 2040. The cancer cases are expected to rise to 30 million cases, which is almost 60 percent increase. So we must understand where we are going wrong.

Cancer wasn't unheard term in the last century nor was it so common a few decades ago. Then what is the reason for this sudden rise? All kinds of cancer are getting common in men and women. Lung, colorectal, prostrate, liver these are some of the cancers, which are very common in men. 

Whereas breast, lung, cervical, thyroid and uterus are the major cancer observed in women. What is the cause of all these cancer, the answer lies in our growing Lifestyle changes. 

Our foods are changing, our cooking methods are changing, our sleep patterns are changing, our daily use products, thinking, physical activities, all these things are changing now, the cause of cancer lies somewhere in these changes.So, let's understand.

1. Harmful Cooking Methods

You are thinking, I eat only healthy food, but little do we know that it's the cooking methods that introduces carcinogenic which are cancer-causing agents within your food. 

Research shows that cooking at high temperature and dry heat increases the production of carcinogenic substances in the food. Your favorite chips, french fries and breakfast cereals are all processed in high-temperature. 

Any starchy food cooked in high temperature increases, the risk of cancer pan-frying and grilling at high, temperature can cause all oil to undergo series of changes that produces unwanted chemicals. Especially eating meat prepared in open flame cooking, grilling smoking, and barbecue, are not healthy in a long run. 

These cooking methods  produces the highest cancer producing compound in red meat. I'm not saying that you should completely avoid these foods and cooking methods like, pan frying, grilling smoking, and barbecuing, you just have to minimize these things. These foods should become occasional food and not your main diet. Most importantly, avoid non-stick pan teflon.

2. Ventilation in Kitchen

Studies have shown that inhaling fumes of  cooking oil increases the risk of lung cancer. Inhaling excess of these fumes from stir-fry and pan-frying for a longer period of time is hazardous for health. So, make sure that your kitchen is well ventilated.

3. Eating Stale Food

We have developed a new eating habit of eating frozen food or refrigerate food, chilling the food for many days, can change the molecular structure of many food and these fools release carcinogen while cooking. And Yoga makes it very much clear that stale food in any way is junk food. It is undoubtedly going to cause you harm. So try as far as possible to eat freshly cooked food and not stale food.

4. Lack of Sleep

Earlier, people used to sleep at 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. But now, people are binge watching movies late at night or working at night shift. Disturbance in the body's biological clock have been linked to an increased risk of cancer. Also, long exposure to Blue Rays. When working midnight shift or scrolling on smartphone, may lower the melatonin level promoting the cancer risk.

5. Lack of Proper Hygiene

One of the major causes of cancer is infection. Certain viruses and bacteria are known to increase the cancer risk; viruses and bacteria can enter your system from any medium, heat, air, water or food. So make sure that you drink only bottled or filtered water and you only eat home-cooked food and minimize restaurant. 

The culture of ordering food online is increasing rapidly. But the plastic  can and packages contain chemicals called  forever chemicals that seep inside the food, when they are packed hot. These are extremely health hazardous chemicals. These chemicals never go out of your body, no matter how many detox methods you try. In the long run they lay the foundation for developing cancer. 

6. Cosmetics

Well, how can we forget our cosmetic products? Initially people hardly applied cosmetics or most people prefer home remedies today's cosmetic products contain  cancer-causing agents such as estrogen, paraben or fallot. 

These chemicals are extremely dangerous and can increase the risk of cancer. Most of the shampoos, hair dyes, gels, nail polish, sunscreen and deodorants contain these agents. Instead use the actual and organic products that are free of estrogen, paraben, and fallot. 

Apart from all these obesity plays a major role in increasing the risk of cancer. Excessive body fat can increase growth hormone. Signaling the cells to divide more and raising the risk of cancer.

Also, tobacco and alcohol are the leading causes of cancer as the make our cells more vulnerable to the chemical carcinogen. Anything that is extremely hazardous for your body should be avoided.

Also, you should practice yoga regularly and any other non-strenuous activities regularly. Go for a walk daily climb steps daily, eat in moderation. Follow proper routine to manage your weight and prevent obesity healthy lifestyle choices can support lowering the risk of cancer.

So make sure to eat the balanced and healthy diet. Maintain a healthy weight exercise regularly avoid the consumption of tobacco and smoking and you will be able to easily manage your life and avoid these challenges which otherwise will make life miserable. And remember, all these points, which we have mentioned to prevent all these health challenges. So take care of yourself, take interest in healthy life and living and enjoy your life beautifully.
