The way we utilize our lunch break plays an important role for the rest of the day. Good lunch break practices help us to receive maximum benefits from our food. It will also help us to engage in the meal served and appreciate it. So today we will talk about some healthy routines at the time of lunch break.

1. Relax Before Eating
No sooner lunch break begins, get up from your working place. Walk climb, climb at least 5 floors, come back. Brisk walking is very essential because you have been sitting for a long time while working. And then sit and be quiet for sometime and then eat food. Leave all your stress worries disputes before you sit to eat. Mind should be quiet and peaceful and joyful.
2. Mauna and Mindfulness
When you are eating, your engagement with food is very crucial. Maintaining mauna or eating in silence is the best way in keeping your mind focused on food. Don'tt think or talk about something to someone which is bothering you. Don't discuss anything at all. Negative thoughts will have adverse effect on your body. Also be mindful where your mind is. So be mindful eat food with a positive state of mind.
Become aware about what you are eating, how much you are eating and so on eat half of your stomach. Don't eat more then half of your stomach. Keep one quarter of the stomach empty for water which you will be drinking one hour after your meal and one quarter of your stomach should be kept empty for the gases that will form after the fermentation. So be very very clear eat, very very little only in moderation.
Concentrate on each morsel, chew your food thoroughly well chew. Chew your food gently through your meals. The more your chew the less you eat the better. You would feel remember this and enjoy the food. Talk good about the food, praise those people who have cooked for you bring a very positive and joyfull mind. And eat well this will help to convert eating time into meditation
3. Stroll After Meal
Walkinghelps in digestion so make a habit to stroll for 15 mins after food. See that your mind is fully involved in your strolling. So count your steps, put 2 steps and breathe in and another 2 steps and breathe out. So synchronize your steps with your breathing rhythm. This will bring awareness while walking automatically. The way in which you are walking will ensure that you increase more oxygen level in your body. It will restore energy to your body. It will not get tired and that would give you immense amount of strength
4. Sit Comfortably
After your walk, learn to sit comfortably in your chair or on the floor or wherever you can sit. Shut your eyes, see to it that your body doesn't leave your attention, no movements and then listen to the sounds that are there in the atmosphere. Be in a listening state if there is no convenient place to sit. Then stand at the window and observe all natural things like birds and flowers and fruits and leaves moving in breeze. Don't think about anything just observe this useful technique will automatically quitten your mind and remove all the negative. It will make you feel refreshed for the second half of the day. People usually complain of feeling tired lethargic or lazy after food instead spending time or gossiping with people or scrolling through social media
Follow these 4 things without fail. These habits will not just help you to have a better digestion but it will also help you to make you much better much capable person. And through out the day rest of the day you will feel more energetic more enthusiastic more creative and more happy.
