5 Best Gaming Desktop Under $1500 in 2022
Vemuda Techno - Hi and welcome to Vemuda Techno. While the cryptomarket is in a bit of uncertainty, prices on various computer parts have dropped dramatically.
Now could be a good time if you are looking to upgrade your gaming setup from the ground up.
Today we will be reviewing 5 of the best prebuilt gaming desktop computers available for under $1500.
1. Asus ROG Strix G15
The front of the chassis has an angular design with the ROG logo up top and air vents down below, cutting across is a customizable RGB stripe.

The big air vents from the front also cover pretty much the whole top of the case which is a big plus for airflow, in addition to easily accessible usb and audio ports.
Comparing this design to other gaming oriented desktops available, it’s fairly anonymous and not too flashy. Asus equipped this rig for unadulterated gaming.
Pairing a Ryzen 7 5800X with 16GB of high speed DDR4 memory and M dot 2 storage makes for very high task performance overall. And with NVIDIAs RTX 3070, this system tears through games.
Not surprisingly, it will run games like Call of Duty Black Ops or Cold Ware in 4K on high settings reaching between 50 and 55 frames per second. However what actually is surprising, is how silent it runs, even under heavy load.
Overall the G15 gaming desktop from Asus nets you an enormously enjoyable gaming experience, and will be a low maintenance battlestation for years to come.
2. Alienware Aurora R14
Generally speaking Alienware has a tendency to push the envelope when it comes to their designs. And the R14 is no exception.
In a tubular fashion, the front panel has smart airflow vents built into its design and is lit up in beautiful RGB lighting.

The curved angels continue over the top of the case, which works as a big exhaust and the side panel is of course see-through, tying the whole design together.
The Aurora 14s’ powerful components are more than enough muscle to handle pretty much any work you need to run or games you need to play.
The beefy configuration has absolutely no problem playing any game on the market in 4K at high settings, and will remain relevant for some time.
A Ryzen 7 5800, 16GB of high speed DDR6 memory and an RTX 3070 shreds through performance heavy games like Cyberpunk 2077, Total War or Pathfinder at 1080p and maxed out settings.
Cranking up the resolution will of course affect performance, but dropping below 60 frames per second is a rarity even at 4K.
The Alienware brand is a long time titan in the gaming desktop genre, so they know what they are doing.
With the addition of this configuration, they remain among the best of the best in our opinion.
Considering the price point, and quality you would come to expect from Alienware, this is a very fair option.
3. Predator Orion 3000
Similar to Alienware's desktop, the Orion 3000’s case is also quite unique. Acer has simply ripped off the edges around the front and turned it into a very stylish and effective airflow intake.
However, the mid-sized case looks a lot more inconspicuous and low key throughout the rest, besides the see-through side panel and customizable RGB. If it looks like a duck it probably quacks like one too, and this system absolutely does.

Sporting an Alder Lake 12700F with 12 cores to handle more or less anything, a very generous amount of 1TB M dot 2 SSD and 16GB of 3200MHz DDR4 memory makes for a pretty crazy desktop at this price range.
Especially considering we didn’t mention the RTX 3060 Ti yet. Crushing 1080p while still being more than enough for 1440p, and just enough to make 4K feel smooth.
This is a workhorse for everyday use, and offers seamless and smooth gaming experience, or even demanding work like editing and rendering.
4. MSI Aegis RS
The Aegis’ design feels royal, with a dark and black color scheme, beveled front panel and dim RGB lighting throughout.
The bezels around the side panel glass are more or less nonexistent, and over the top is a high quality machined grill for airflow and a multitude of easy access ports. Overall a very smart looking case with lots of great details.

Packing an even more powerful processor than the Orion 3000, the Aegis is running an Alder Lake 12700KF along with 16GB of 4800MHz DDR5 memory and 1TB of storage.
In addition to the RTX 3060 Ti. Very much capable of tackling any modern games in higher resolutions and maxed out settings, as well as other heavy performance tasks.
Claiming the title as the most powerful system of this list. Designwise, the quality and attention to detail don’t get old, and you won't have to swap out components any day soon either.
This is an excellent baseline for a rock solid gaming rig that will last you a long time, and not to mention, for a very good price.
5. HP Omen 30L
Looking very stylish and cold, the front is semi-transparent tempered glass showing off the Omen logo towards the top, and an intake fan lit by RGB near the bottom.
Around the side you get a clear view into the heart of the computer through the see-through side panel. In some sense, HP really succeeded in making it look and feel like an omen.

Now, we don’t hand editors choices out based on looks alone, this configuration of the HP Omen packs some staggering power, even at the $1500 price point.
This is an AMD system, running a Ryzen 7 5800X along speedy 3200MHz DDR4 memory, performing a fair bit more than the 5800. It is however the addition of an RTX 3080 that knocks out all of the competition in this list.
Of the pre built gaming desktops we’ve reviewed on this list, the HP Omen 30L wins out overall.
The case design is spot on and is in fact toolless and very modular if you ever need to swap something out.
The components in this config are both cost effective and powerful enough to handle anything you would throw at it, be it 4K gaming on high settings, streaming, editing or rendering video to name a few.
If you're looking for something serious that won't go out of style anytime soon, look no further.
Well, that concludes our list of the top 5 best gaming desktops under $1500. Until next time, have a great day.
