The secret is Motivation. The one word that comes up every time, we set a goal for ourselves. Whether is to be healthier or live better. So, let's look at some secret of motivation.
To be motivated, first and foremost, you have to always begin with the end in the mind. Always remember what is it that you are working for. Always remember that. If you are studying hard, you do it because you want to score well. So, if you want to stay motivated, always remember why you started all this. When you remember your goal or objective, it will give a boost of power and determination to keep going. No matter how difficult it can become.
Remember! the tortoise wanted to win and so he thought about winning and only winning. He did not think about how the rabbit was faster and he didn't think about how much slower he was. He just thought about beating the rabbit and winning as he took every small step to victory. So that's the first secret to motivation.
Next comes stress. Whenever you set out to do something different or challenging or worthwhile, remember that you will feel certain amount of stress. Stress is a good motivator. It means that you care enough about what you are working at. When you care about what you are trying to do, you are bound to stick till the end. To keep yourself motivated, give yourself deadlines. Even for the smallest of tasks like eating or bathing or relaxing or even your hobbies. When you have a deadline in your head, you will be motivated to give all your attention to the task and get it done without distraction. So, remember the second secret of staying motivated, is to embrace the stress not a lot of it but just the right amount of it. |

Finally, remember that the tortoise did it all alone. You don't have to always build and develop a strong support system around you. Remember, you may set out to do something but the path to your goal will never be simple or a straight line. There will be so many ups and downs, twists and turns. You think, you will get something in six months but it may actually take you six years. And now imagine having to be alone without support for all that time or longer. When you get your goals your victory will be sweet but when you have people with you on the way, the journey also becomes sweeter. Remember! life will always have some sorrows and some joys but when you have people to share it with, the sorrows are less painful and joys more joyfully.
