Battlefield Mobile now in open beta in PH for Android devices

The open beta test for the upcoming mobile shooter game Battlefield Mobile is now available in select Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.

The Battlefield Mobile open beta test is currently available for Android devices. Meanwhile, the developers have shared no update about the availability of the mobile game on iOS devices.

Interested players in select countries can download Battlefield Mobile on Google Play Store so that they can test out the game.

Battlefield Mobile minimum system requirements

Battlefield Mobile is still in development and is currently being optimized for a range of devices. To be able to play the Battlefield Mobile Open Beta, your Android phone must meet the following minimum specs:

• Android 8.0 or later
• Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or better
• Samsung Exynos 9 (8895) or better
• At least 3 GB of RAM
• At least 2 GB of storage space
• A 64-bit system

Battlefield Mobile Open Beta Content

The BF Mobile Open Beta includes the following content:

• Game modes – Conquest, Warpath, Rush, Team Deathmatch, variety of special modes (which will come later)
• Class System – Players can choose from four classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon, and rank up to unlock more unique abilities, gadgets, items, and specializations.
• Maps – Noshahr Canals and Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3

According to EA, Battlefield Mobile also has assignments and challenges that reset "frequently" to encourage players to keep coming back.

The game publisher also cited that the game is an open beta, which means players are free to capture and share videos and screenshots.

Industrial Toys said that this first open beta features improvements in the graphics and gyro movements from the alpha version.

The game developer also noted that all progress made in the Battlefield Mobile beta would be wiped out once the final version goes live. Further, any in-game purchases you made in the beta will be converted to Battlefield Coins with a 25% bonus at launch.
