Xiaomi Redmi Pad specs, price in the Philippines

Xiaomi Philippines, through its social media pages, has announced the launch of the Redmi Pad. This is the first Android tablet in the Redmi lineup, and it features an impressive list of specifications and competitive pricing.

Redmi Pad features a large 10.61-inch LCD display with a 2K (1200 x 2000 px) resolution, 400 nits brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate for a smoother scrolling experience. Its screen even has TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light and SGS low visual fatigue certifications. There are also stereo quad speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.

Regarding design, the new tablet incorporates an all-metal unibody chassis, flat frames, and symmetrical bezels that house a horizontally-centered front camera. It comes in Graphite Grey, Moonlight Silver and Mint Green colorways.

The new Redmi Pad is powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and has two memory configurations: 4GB RAM+128GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. Storage can be further expanded by up to 1TB via a microSD card.

It also has dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.3 support. However, it has no SIM card slot for cellular connectivity.

Moreover, the tablet comes with two 8MP cameras, with the front-facing camera featuring a 105° field of view and FocusFrame, which tracks your movement during video calls.

Xiaomi also included an 8,000mAh battery with support for USB-C 18W charging. The software includes Android 12 with MIUI for Pad interface on top, as well as a guarantee of 3 years of software support and 2 Android version updates.
