Samsung Galaxy A74, New Flagship

Vemuda Techno - So hey everyone Samsung's next A series phone will be the Galaxy A74 the successor of the A73. But this time, the A74 will have some solid specs that might give it the tag of a flagship killer. 

Yes, as we all know, Samsung has moved the mid-range phones in their lineup from Exynos to the Qualcomm 7-series CPU, which is a great move on Samsung's part.

And now there are rumors that the snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU will be found inside the next galaxy A74. For those who are unaware, Qualcomm introduced 7-gen 1 by rebranding the 3-digit number to the 700 series. This SOC now has some impressive features.  

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Mobile Platform is a complete gaming package. This platform offers amazing mobile gaming, fast connectivity, and heart-pounding audio and images. The Snapdragon® 7 Gen 1 Mobile Platform expands the Snapdragon 7-Series' gaming features.

It has improved Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU which delivers over 20% faster graphics rendering and ultra-low-latency HDR gaming. Bolster your moves and harness  responsiveness by the millisecond with select Snapdragon Elite Gaming™ features. 

And when this CPU is found in Samsung's best-selling smartphone series. This will be the frosting on the cake. Using the 7-gen 1 with Samsung's One UI 5 will bring in the smoothest experience on a phone.  

The Galaxy A74 will also include a 108MP main camera, but this time Samsung will improve the sensor to deliver the finest image quality possible. And the remaining cameras are currently unknown.

In addition, for your information, Samsung has decided to remove depth-sensing camera sensors from its mid-range phones, according to The Elec. Based on the source, the Galaxy A24, A34, A54, and A74 would all have only three cameras: main, ultrawide, and macro.  

As per reports, Samsung's decision is to focus on the remaining cameras while cutting costs associated with the depth camera. The South Korean firm has already started offering OIS in its mid-range phones, so the company is moving in the right direction.

We hope that Samsung will one day bring telephoto cameras to its higher mid-range phones.  

Looking at all of these specs, which appear to be legitimate given how Samsung is pushing its mid-range phones forward. If all of this is true, the Galaxy A74 might be labeled as a Flagship killer.

In terms of launch timing, it might happen  around March, like other A series phones. We never know when Samsung may modify their schedule and release their phones sooner than usual.
