Google Pixel Fold - Awesome Foldable Phone

Even though Samsung now dominates the industry, Apple and Google may introduce foldable of their own in the future. And it appears that Google will soon release its first foldable phone.

As we all know, Google is working on a device that is said to be a foldable phone. And now, developer Kuba Wojciechowski has informed 91mobiles about the Pixel Fold's display specs.

The same insider also told us last month that the device will most likely include a triple back camera setup. Google's next foldable phone is internally nicknamed Felix.

Let's look at what we gathered about the device's display.

Now according to the source The main foldable screen will have an 1840 x 2208 resolution, a maximum brightness of 1200 nits, and an average brightness of 800 nits.

Additionally, he claims that the display will be able to handle a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Let's take a look at the display of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 for comparison.

The resolution of Samsung's current flagship folding phone's main screen is 1812 x 2176, which is slightly lower than the Pixel Fold.

Despite having a higher resolution, the Pixel Fold is apparently smaller than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. And for your information, the pixel fold display will be made by Samsung itself.

So it appears that Google is replicating the formula of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4, making it virtually identical to the device.

I hope Google prices this phone similarly to their pixel number series. It will be the finest foldable phone experience with stock Android features.

Moving on As previously stated, the Pixel Fold will have three rear cameras. The main sensor is likely to be a Sony IMX787.

An IMX386 ultra-wide lens and an S5K3J1 telephoto lens will also be included in the system. The inside display may use an IMX355 sensor, while the outside display may have an S5K3J1 telephoto selfie sensor.

Google officially unveiled the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch at its Made by Google launch event, but no foldable device was mentioned.

The Pixel Fold was supposed to be released this year, but a new source claims it will come in March 2023.
