Dota 2 TI11 Grand Finals: Tundra sweep Team Secret 3-0

New Dota 2 champions have been crowned. Tundra Esports has won The International 11 (TI11) after defeating Team Secret with a clean 3-0 sweep in the best-of-five grand finals.

Tundra remained unbeaten throughout the competition's bracket stage, losing only four games in the group stage and one map in the main stage. Thanks to their superb map-splitting strategy.

In Game 1, Tundra's map-splitting tactic was led by Oliver "skiter" Lepko's iconic Naga Siren pick, resulting in a 40-minute victory.

Tundra then threw a shocker in Game 2 by selecting Leon "Nine" Kirilin as an unexpected mid-Arc Warden and triumphed again in 40 minutes.

Tundra Esports made an unanticipated Medusa pick for skiter in Game 3. Nevertheless, Neta "33" Shapira's Beastmaster wreaked devastation across the map and guided Tundra to victory. Despite a brave effort by Michał "Nisha" Jankowski on Ember Spirit, Team Secret was unable to halt them. Tundra ended the game in the 44-minute mark and secured the 3-0 sweep.

With their win, Tundra Esports bagged the massive grand prize of over USD 8.4 million from the tournament's USD 18.8 million prize pool and claimed the coveted Aegis of Champions trophy.

Meanwhile, runners-up Team Secret took home more than USD 2.4 million.
