The extremely high dose of sugar that we can absorb into our bodies within seconds by consuming sweetened beverages is uniquely toxic to the metabolism.  |

3. Lack of exercise can make you look older. Imagine a 90 year old they're almost slumped over. Well, that's largely due to limited spinal mobility and support in your younger years. Low mobility in your 20s and 30s can lead to problems later on, especially joint and muscle pain and an overall slouched appearance. There are certain exercises that can help you loosen up your muscles and joints, like Yoga or Pilates. But even if you're just doing endurance sports or lifting weights, you can improve your flexibility. 5.Stress. Stress ages you. Telomeres are the ends of chromosomes, the structures in each cell that contain genes. Over time, telomeres get shorter. When they get short enough, the cell dies. Chronic stress leads to shorter telomeres. And people with shorter telomeres are at higher risk for several serious diseases. That's another reason to reduce chronic stress in our lives. It's really not good for us.
