Very first tip that will help you prepare your skin for the colder season is to switch all your exfoliating cleanser to hydrating cleanser. This is not the time for you to be loading on exfoliation. This is the time that you have to focus on hydration because your skin is already vulnerable. Your skin is already dry, so you don't want to further increase the dryness with exfoliation. So switch out your exfoliating foaming cleanser to hydrating cleanser. You have to load up on hydration and reduce the use of ash chemicals and acid. |

Next tip that will help you prepare for the dryer climate is to invest in hydration. Get good hydrating moisturizer. If you are the type that always have oily skin still now the season is dry you have to level up and load up more on hydration. And if you feel like in the morning you have a bit oily around your T-Zone and you feel like that is sufficient for you. No, you have to load up on moisturize. If you are the type that have oily skin during the mint winter months, get the moisturizer that have gel like consistency. If you're the type that have dry skin and you have been hydrating before you only need to double your hydration during this season. So that your skin is well moisturized. When your skin is well hydrated, it will be hard for the weather to be able to tap into your skin. Though it's still going to get dry but at least it will not leave you with flaky skin or dehydrated skin. Because there is a lot of difference between your skin being dry and your skin being dehydrated. So if you have oily skin it does not mean it's well hydrated. You have to ensure that you are putting moisturizer on your face. |

Next tip that will help you prepare your skin for the season is to reduce exfoliation. Reduce the use of physical scrub. Reduce the use of chemical. This is not the time for exploitation. During the dry season, do not exfoliate your skin more than twice a week. One to two times a week is enough for body but for facial skin do not exfoliate your skin more than two times in a month. |

This is the time that you should take more fruits and vegetable. So that you are hydrated from inside out.
This is the time that you have to focus on your skin. If you have been paying attention to your skin before, this is the time for you to pay more attention to your skin. If you are the type that you haven't been paying attention to your skin before because you have oily skin or you really don't have skin issues still you should pay close attention to your skin. If you do not pay close attention to your skin you might not like the appearance of your skin during and after winter. Because when the weather gets so dry your skin becomes dry, your leaves become dry and sharp so this is the time that you have to double up on hydrating products. The weather is already dry enough, your skin is already vulnerable, so this is not the time for you to be getting mattifying makeup products. |

The next tip to help prepare your skin for fall and winter is for to continue to use sunscreen. This is not the time to put your sunscreen away, don't say because the sun is not hot you don't need to wear sunscreen. Sunscreen is supposed to be worn every day. Keep using your sunscreen. If you have dry skin get hydrating sunscreen. Get the things that will help your skin prepare well and behave well and look better even during the dryer season.
Last one that will help you is to reduce the hotness in the shower. Though the weather is cold but you have to ensure that you are not having your bags with too much of hot water. If you have your bath with hot water, you are going to suffer with something known as trans epidemic water loss. This is when your body will not be able to retain water and in case you don't know the very first thing you can use to hydrate your skin is water. During this season your body is retaining water more than it is losing it. So tone down the temperature in the shower, just have a warm bath and not steaming hot.
So ensure that you follow these tips and surely you're going to love the appearance of your skin during the season and even after the season. Stay fabulous, stay beautiful.
