2022 Overwatch League Playoffs, Finals: free skins, rewards

Throughout the 2022 Overwatch League (OWL) Playoffs and Finals, Overwatch 2 players will be able to get various free in-game skins and other rewards.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that players who watch the final days of the 2022 Overwatch League season from October 30 to November 4 will be eligible for "postseason perks" such as skins, name cards, emotes, and icons. The fifth season of the Overwatch League is being played on an early build of Overwatch 2, whereas the previous four seasons were played on the original game.

In a recent blog post, Blizzard said that "fans who have linked their Battle.net accounts can enjoy matches and earn in-game perks throughout the entire week of Playoffs and Grand Finals."

2022 Overwatch League Playoffs Format

Here's the format for the OWL 2022 Playoffs, which are scheduled to begin on October 30 and end on November 4.

• The top six (6) teams in the West and three (3) in the East automatically qualify for Playoffs.
• Two (2) teams in the West and one in the East qualify for Playoffs through Countdown Cup, a tournament that serves as the play-ins for the 2022 Overwatch League Playoffs.
• The twelve (12) playoff teams are seeded in a double-elimination bracket.
• Seeds 1 to 4 will select their second-round opponents.
• Kiriko is available for play.

How to claim Overwatch 2 free rewards during OWL 2022 Playoffs and Grand Finals

To earn the rewards, players must first ensure that their Battle.net and YouTube accounts are linked. If you have not yet connected them, you can follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your YouTube account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Click on "Connected apps" in the menu.
4. Select your Battle.net account.
5. Click "Allow."
6. You can now start watching on the official Overwatch YouTube channel.

As per Blizzard, the OWL 2022 perks are as follows:

• Earn five (5) League Tokens per hour for every hour watched.
• Earn three (3) Overwatch League home and away skins for every three (3) hours watched, up to 30 hours. Earnable skins include the latest Overwatch 2 heroes: Sojourn, Junker Queen, and Kiriko
• Custom community-designed Overwatch 2 cosmetics will be dropped after specific viewership milestones.

• 24 – Symmetra, Torbjorn, Doomfist – Lucio Dance Party emote
