Preparation time :30-35 minutes. Cook time :30-35 minutes. Type: vegetarian. cuisine:south indian. Prefered as:Lunch. Taste better with:various chutney and pickles (Aachar),plain yoghurt. List of ingredients:1) 250-300 gms of paneer cubes. 2) 2-3 cups of ghee(Butter). 3) 2 tbsp whole spices(Masale). 4) 1 large onion(pyaaz minutely chopped) . 5) 2-3 tbsp butter (As needed). 6) 1-2 cups of tomato puree(by blender/mixer). 7) 1-2 green chilies (Hari mirch). 8) 2-3 Garlic cloves(Lehsun ki kaliya). 9) 1 tbsp ginger (adrak ) chopped. 10) 1-2 tbsp turmeric (haldi). 11) 1-2 tbsp cumin Coriander powder(jeera hara dhaniya powder). 12) 1/2 to 1 tbsp tandoori masala. 13)1/2 tbsp cinaamon powder(dalchini ). 14) 1 tbsp sugar (chini). 15) 1/4 cup cashew paste. 16) 1/2 cup cream. 17) salt (As needed). 18) 5-6 cup basmati rice (cooked). 19) 1 cup fried onions. 20) 1/2 cup almond silvers . 21) 1/2 cup mint and coariander (pudina aur hara dhaniya chopped)

Step to step guide :1)take a pan or utensil add ghee in it. 2)just sear the paneer cubes in the ghee. 3)after that just seasoned them and keep them aside. 4)in the same pan add whole spices (cinaamon,cloves, cardamom ,black pepper). 5) after spices get crackled /cooked then add chopped onions (1/2 cup), green chilies (chopped1-2 tbsp),ginger (chopped small pieces), garlic (3-4 cloves). 6) let them Fry for 2-3 minutes. 7) long time frying Can damage the taste so don't let them Fry for long time. 8) Add 1 tbsp powdered masala and 1-2 cup of tomato puree In it. 9) let's simmered them for 5-10 minutes. 10)Add 250-300 gm panner cubes in a gravy now. 11) let's simmer them for 7-8 minutes again. 12) just used the pot like handi or utensil you prefer. 13) Add paneer in it and after that form a layer of basmati rice on it. 14)just garnish with onions and some 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves on it. Cover the lid of pot for 20-25 minutes.

Tip:1) cook basmati rice upto 70 percent overcooked basmati rice will form khichdi not biryani. 2)if tandoor masala not available then u can also use flavour enhancer like spring Curry leaves(Kadipatta ) and tezpatta. 3) if u don't like cashews then u can add peanuts too. 4) greased the pot carefully otherwise at bottom biryani get burned . 5) try to cook this at low or medium flame.
