Project MKULTRA was a human experimental program designed and undertaken by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.). C.I.A. conduct this program to gain control over the mind of the people. This is not just a normal experiment, it’s a human killing experiment. They did experiments on their own people even without their knowledge and consent. People went to a café, had a drink and became the subject of that experiment.
Mk project was in a very big scale, more than 100 of institution were involved in this like hospital, university, nursing home etc., More than 160 sub projects were running under MKULTRA, in which different - different experiment were carrying on over human to control their mind
Origin of the project
After the 2nd world war, Allies of England and America went to Germany to interrogate thousands of scientists and seize war related documents. In one of the documents, they got the list of scientists who were working on mind controlling projects. US president order to bring all the scientists in America except the German scientists who were working for Nazis or involve in war. But allies brought all scientists in America so that they could work on biological weapons together. The CIA came to know about the Japanese and Nazis concentration camps on controlling human minds from the document. They started the MK project which is the continuation project of Nazis and Japanese. CIA recruit the Nazis scientist to continue the experiment. They brought them to Fort Detrick, Maryland.
This project began on the order of CIA director Allen Dulles on April 13, 1953 and led by Sidney Gottlieb. The aim of the project is to develop the mind controlling drugs and use them against foreign countries and their leaders.
In 1964, they renamed it MKSEARCH. They attempted to produce a perfect truth drug that means whoever takes it, will speak only the truth. They wanted to use this drug in interrogating suspected soviet spies in the cold war. Some said they were successful in developing that drug.

Theory of mind control
CIA scientist Gottlieb, theory of mind control was, controlling mind is two-part process. First, you have to blast away the existing mind memory and second, insert a new memory into that void. He was almost succeeded in first process using LSD drugs but they didn’t get too far on number too
Experiment
As per the documents of the CIA, they used LSD drugs and radiators for the purpose of mind control. Initially C.I.A, focused on LSD drugs. In 1953, CIA purchased 10 kg of LSD (enough for 100 million dose) and further they purchased all the LSD production and brought it to America in an aim to stop other countries from controlling the supply. They distribute LSD to every institution like hospitals and universities. Whenever any patients come and they want to make them subject, they administer LSD in them and notice their reaction.
They done experiments on CIA employees, military personal, prostitutes, mental ill patients doctors and general public too in order to study their reaction. This experiment was conducted without subject knowledge and consent.
They were seeing success in the project. So, they start administering drugs in hospitals, gardens, café or other public places to study their reactions in public.
After 10 year of the project, MKULTRA’s researcher observed different – different reactions of LSD on different people, so they dismissed LSD as too unpredictable in its result.
Come in public eye
Like other illegal thing, it also comes in public eyes. In 1973, CIA Director Richard Helms ordered the destruction of all MKULTRA files. This is the reason, why most of CIA document regarding this project were destroyed, making all investigation impossible. Around 20,000 documents survived as they had been incorrectly stored in the record centre.
In 1975, congressional Church Committee reports and the presidential Rockefeller Commission report revealed to the public about this project and how they experimented on humans without their knowledge and consent to find out the drug to manipulate the human mind. They also revealed that most of them died when they administered LSD in them.
Final word
In the end, MKULTRA came into the public eye and was seized by the government. As per report its scaling down scene 1965 and almost shut down in 1973 as per report. MKULTRA is a failure project of the CIA but this project shows that humans are doing everything just to get something they want. Even today lots of projects are going on but we don’t know about them. Maybe, we are the subject of some kind of project but we don’t know.

Social media is the best tool today to manipulate and brainwash people. For example, some news channels or insta and Facebook pages upload posts in favor of one political party only whether its ruling one or oppression. This is also a kind of manipulation or brain washing of the people.
