How to Avoid Unwanted Load Deductions or "Nakaw Load" in Globe, Smart
Have you ever encountered situations where your prepaid load is deducted even though you didn't use mobile data, send a text, or make a call? If you're among the people who experienced this, you may find this guide of great help to avoid these unwanted load deductions.
The reason why unwanted load deductions or "nakaw load" happens is when a subscriber clicks an online advertisement link or VAS (value-added service) provider button. These third-party providers charging customers without their consent is against the rules. Prepaid customers must receive a verification code first via SMS to opt-in to the subscription and cancellation instructions to unsubscribe from it.
There are also instances of "kain load" when a customer attempts to register a specific promo, but the transaction fails. Besides unwanted load deductions, another problem for subscribers is the unwanted data charges, where their regular load is being deducted when they unintentionally turn on their mobile data.
