Welcome to all to our blog "Food is love".Hello everyone today we arrive with some sort of sweet dish.this dish oftenly made at home in festive seasons throughout the india.yes i am talking about "Gulab jamun". Traditional indian dessert loved by most people in india . Preparation time:10-20 minutes. Cook time :20-25 minutes. Cuisine:Indian . Type: Vegetarian. Prefered as : Dessert ,sweet dish. Gulabjamun made in 2 ways 1) milk powder .2) khoya(Khawa).we will do Gulab jamun by using khoya.

STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO FOLLOW:. Step -1: First of all we have to make sugar syrup(Chashni or paak).is base of gulabjamun. Step -2: Take a wide pot for sugar syrup formation. Step -3: Add 2 cups of sugar and 1-2 cups of water in that pot. Heat this stuff on a medium heat . Step -4: In a few minutes sugar will start dissolving. Step -5: sticky consistency sugar syrup is perfect for gulabjamun.so just take a 1/2 Tbsp and check the consistency. Step -6: now add 1/2 Tbsp of rose water along with that add 1/2 Tbsp cardamom powder and 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice. Step -7: Mix it well properly and keep that aside later we will used. Step -8: Now we will move towards formation of dough making. Step -9: In a mixing bowl add grated mawa (as needed),flour(As Needed) and 1/2 cardamom powder and some baking powder. Step -10: pour some milk in that we adding milk for making crack free stuff.dont add too much. Step -11: Dry or crumby texture damage the dough.so milk will maintain the consistency of dough. Step -12: Divide the dough into several parts. Step-13: we want a rolled ball. Step -14: coming towards the final steps. step-15: Take a pan turn on the gas add 2 Tbsp of oil in a pan or kadhai. Step -16: keep gas on a medium heat after oil becomes hot drop the ball one by one in that oil. Step -17: in few minutes our balls will done stir them well. Step -18:Golden brown colour of balls is sign that our balls are done perfectly. Step-19: remove the cooked balls to a colander. Step -20: Allow the balls cool down for 3-5 minutes. Step-21: Add cooked balls for slightly hot syrup .too much hot syrup damage the balls. Step -22: Rotate the Gulab jamun in that sugar syrup.let then soaked in sugar syrup for 35-40 minutes. Step -23:our gulabjamun is ready decorate with cashews pieces or pista or u can also use khobar khis on gulabjamun .
