Bohemian Grove, a secret club. Every July for a week or two, rich and powerful people gather at a 2,700-acre campground in Monte Rio, Calif. They may be doing heavy drinking, super-secret talk or worship and other rituals, no – one knows except them. But one thing is sure, if powerful and rich people sit together, they will definitely do some business or secret talk. There is a rumor that the planning of the Manhattan project took place at grove, leading to the creation of the atomic bomb.

Every year, in the forest, there is a secret ceremony far away from the eyes of the public and mainstream media. This event is so secret that ex – military men guard the area equipped with night vision goggles, thermal cameras and motion detectors. No one is allowed to see the ceremony.

This club's secret is not because rich and powerful people are in there, its secret since it started even before rich and powerful people join the club. Initially there were only artists in the club. They do their club events far away from the public eye and mainstream media.

History

In the late 19^th century, around 150 years ago, a group of writers, actors, journalists and other artists wanted to enjoy their art in a more exclusive and private setting, so they founded “The Bohemian Club”. A kind of secret society where artists could express themselves freely in all their unique ways, far away from all the ignorant people out there in the real world. There was just one problem: some of the artists were poor and they could not pay the fee of the Bohemian Club. So, the club decided to invite a few rich people who appreciate the arts. They could enjoy the club atmosphere and in return they could show their gratitude with some financial support. After that the artists were able to show their wildest art while being supported by rich people. Their time of starving artists was finally over, they just had to find a secret spot to enjoy their art together and they found the place, a redwood forest near Monte Rio California, and they called it Bohemian Grove. They built camps for their members with strange names like Lost angels, Owl’s nest and cave man. Every camp would be the home to a few members who could drink together, build relationships and live out their artistic spirit.

In this material world, money changes things. This same happened with the club, after the entry of rich and powerful people and their money, the dynamic of the group changed quickly. After eight years, the founding artist of the club complained that the club had become too commercialized, too mainstream. Money is destroying creativity; artists were slowly replaced by powerful and wealthy people of the country. Bankers, industry leaders, CEOs, leading scientists all wanted to join the exclusive party. Their money and influence made creativity take a back seat. You will be shocked to know that U.S presidents Dwight Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, George Bush Senior, they all also joined the Bohemian club before they became president of the United States

George Bush Senior joined the club in 1973 and moved into the camp called Hillbillies, his roommates top was Executives from Bank of America and General Motors. Two years later Ronald Reagan joined the Bohemian Club and moved into the Owl's Nest Camp.

Secret talk

You are smart enough to think that rubbing shoulders with so many powerful people, they would end up with making plenty of shady business deals or come up with secret plans to rule the world.

The club has one strict rule “Weaving spiders come not here” meaning no networking, no business deals, no secret plans, Bohemian Grove is a place to let go of your worries and enjoy the Arts. But – but, rules are made to be broken, everyone goes to Bohemian Grove with their own agenda. If you are having dinner in a secret spot next to CEOs and presidents, secret deals happen on their own. it's rumored that the early planning stage of the infamous Manhattan Project happened during the Bohemian Grove in 1942 only three years later atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and putting an end to World War II

Secret ceremony

The secret ceremony happened at 2,700-acre campground in Monte Rio, Calif in the night. They all worship an owl god. There is a big owl statue, in front of it, all ceremony happened. During the ceremony, members dressed like Druids, some were carrying long torches and some guys brought over something like a coffin effigy, they called it Care. This Effigy represents all the worries and woes that the powerful Elite is carrying on their shoulders every single day. They burned the effigy before the 40 – foot owl and burning it meant releasing stress out from the body. They are all worshipping an owl god but what exactly are these powerful men doing? No – one knows except them.

Is the Bohemian Grove just a summer camp for powerful men who want to let go of their worries for a moment or do they actually use it to craft secret plans to rule over Society far away from the public eye? Most likely both after all with so many powerful men coming together in a secluded Forest secured by ex-military men it's hard not to discuss secret plans.
